System Switching

I'm pretty bad, the one thing I never do is back up my computer. I don't really know why I don't do it but it's something I'm never good at remembering to do. Sometimes I think if I get a data backup software that it'll help remind me to do it. It would be a really good idea since I use laptops all the time and I end up needing to replace them every couple of years or so. Then things get stuck on there because I'm too lazy to take them off unless I need them. LOL Yeah, maybe getting myself something set up would be a good idea...LOL.

No Smoking

I've been smoke free for some where around 6 months now, all thanks to electronic cigarettes, or e-cigs. I'm really glad I decided to try them because after almost 18 years of smoking I thought I'd never quit. There's a lot of debate about these and a lot of places have tried to ban them but they truly do work. I've thought about doing some electronic cigarette wholesale so I can help others like me. I love the e-cig community and all the friends I've made from it already.

Check Out

In preparation for our trip, a lot of shopping and running around was involved. No-No really liked going to the stores where we went through the self-checkout lane. She always gets so impressed with the barcode scanner. I think all kids like that thing though. I remember when my dad worked at a company that did that kind of technology and I would get to go in and play in the testing center where it was set up like a grocery store. That was really fun. It's too bad she didn't get to play in something like that.

Custom Tees

One of my good friends decided to open a custom T-shit business. I have to admit, I was kind of jealous when I heard about it since that's something I had wanted to do but didn't have the money to do it with. She does some pretty neat things though. It helps that a lot of the friends we had through the years have kids who are into sports and things and they give their business to her. The last thing I saw someone asking for was athletic tee shirts with numbers on them. I wish I could find something to do so that I could finally start my own business too, but I guess it still hasn't really hit me yet.

The Semi-Vacation

I FINALLY had gotten a much needed vacation last month. For the first time in forever, I was able to get away for a week and visit my boyfriend. The locale wasn't my ideal for a "vacation" but it worked. LOL

After about a month I've decided that it was time to go back. This is where I am currently posting from. The difference this time is that I've brought No-No with me. It was an interesting flight, to say the least. The first leg of the trip was good since we both slept more than anything else. The second was well, not so great. She didn't fear the change in scenery that I had hoped in and decided that running around the Dallas/Forth Worth airport would be extremely fun. This is where I ended up losing the boarding passes and was luckily able to obtain new ones. Since we've been here she's been nothing short of a menace and we aren't sure what to do with her more often than not. Hopefully she simmers down some so that I can actually enjoy being here.

Fighting Fat

There's this girl that I'm friends with on Facebook who is constantly trying dieting products. It's pretty interesting to see what she says about certain things. The funny part is that she really doesn't need to lose a whole lot of weight, I guess it's turned into something of a hobby of sorts. Her latest thing was doing sensa reviews. That's one I haven't tried so I'm not really sure what would happen with me. It's helpful that she does this kind of thing because evidently, she knows a bunch of people with weight problems, according to her friend list anyway. LOL

The One Year Mark

My cousin and his wife just celebrated their first anniversary. It's so cute how they had met. They both were on vacation and were the only people who spoke the same language in the store they were in. As it turned out, they ended up being from the same area. It's almost like fate had it in for them. This is one of my favorite family members, so I thought I'd send them a gift of some kind. I saw these 1st anniversary gift baskets, which would make things really convenient for me since I don't live near them. I hope they have many more happy anniversaries after this.
