Techy Daddy

Sometimes when I look back on my life there are things that seemed just tiny bit odd to me and I would just shrug them off. My dad is involved in many of these types of memories. LOL I never quite understood why he had this thing attached to the windshield of his car that had blinking lights on it. He told me it was a radar detector but of course I had NO idea what that was and I'm sure he didn't want to tell me that it was to avoid speeding tickets, so I just kind of sat there confused but let it go. I'm not entirely sure why he had one since he never seemed to go that fast but maybe he did when I wasn't around? Who knows. He had so many gadgets of different sorts that I never bothered wondering what much of it was until I was old enough to start to understand what each of them did.
