The Job Hunt

It seems like it's still so difficult to get a job around here. Employers still have so many applicants to choose from that people dumb down their resumes and the competition gets really difficult. Not only that, the employment screening some times takes SO long that it's almost like sheer will to get through it. Have you ever tried to fill out those electronic applications? My goodness! I was SO glad that I didn't have to do that when I got hired at Nordstrom, theirs is SO incredibly long it's not even funny! I totally understand why they have those, and it is a great idea to weed through people that can't sit there and answer the questions differently than their ideal employee. I hope the job market gets better soon for all those people that still haven't gotten anything to pay the bills. I can't even imagine what that's like even with the little bit of income we have.
