Are You Kidding?

I think it's pretty funny how there's so many blogs now. There are so many websites that you can't possibly be able to be one of the top in search engines unless you know all the tricks of the trade. I know I won't and never will. I'm not even really sure what a web directory does for you. LOL I'm obviously not in this to make tons of money like others are. I've tried to read some of the things on forums but after the first post or two I'm totally lost in geek speak and I end up forgetting about it for another long while. LOL

I've just always found amusement in seeing the people that throw up a page thinking that it will some how make them money. If that were the case then everybody would be making tons, not just the handful that claim to make exorbitant amounts.

Total Nutters!

OMG, I know that you all saw that story about the balloon kid. Okay, first off, what kind of people are on Wife Swap more than once? Then the same wackos build a UFO balloon big enough for your kid to climb into in their garage?! WHO builds a UFO balloon? I couldn't help but laugh my head off when I the look on the dad's face when his kid implied that they faked the whole stunt. The mom's glazed over smile was pretty interesting too.

I totally do not understand why people feel the need to gain attention any way they can even in everyday life. They drive me nuts. At any rate, this just makes me feel more comfortable about my feeling that some people should be screened before breeding. LOL!!!

Lighten Up

Now that things are starting to look better for us I'm hoping I can get out of the depressing funk I've been in and start working out again and being productive in all aspects of my life. I'm not saying that I won't still be looking for some fast weight loss tips, those always help but I naturally enjoy being an active person and sitting here working only my fingers is not the active that I have in mind. LOL I miss working outside the house just for that reason...and probably only that reason. Even with the awful work shortages I end up with I'd MUCH rather be doing this then working for some *ahem* "big meanie". LOL! Who knows, with the stress that I don't have right now I may have lost a good amount of weight already.

Little Library

No-No LOVES books. She learned how to turn pages (at the bottom corner) when she was 6-7 months old and never looked back. We have books up the wazoo! I kept a lot of my childhood books since I read a lot of classic books, Yes-Yes has a bunch of his own, and I think No-No's starting to match his collection already! The hard part is teaching her to color only in her coloring books, which she only has like 2 of. LOL

There really isn't room for anymore bookshelves and I can't very well just stick them in a drawer some where. I tried using this plastic storage thingy but that was stacking them too and they soon came out and ended up all over the place again. One would think this was an easy solution don't you think?

My last idea is to check places that sell preschool furniture and if it's second hand that's even better. She's got to get organized and start learning something about cleaning up after herself and it has to be soon!

I Know...

I'm horrible when it comes to visiting and commenting on people's blogs. I just really don't have the time to do anything let alone read. I think it's even more funny when I think about my own blogs and wonder if anyone even reads the stuff. LOL! No matter, I find that it's really nice to say what I want when I want to. I know it's never anything all that exciting or interesting but hey, that's my life...BORING.

The good news for anyone that actually does read this thing is that I won't be complaining about being poor for that much longer. I found a way to make some decent money finally and there might be a Santa this year after all! Thank God, because I was running out of energy to stress out with!

DH was watching this show the other day on extreme motor homes. I didn't get to see it since I was cooking dinner but I couldn't believe the things I was hearing. They had all kinds of extravagant things in them! He was right, we probably would never want to stay in one place if we had one.

Then of course he has to come over and suggest that we move out of here and get one. He thinks that if we sold the house we could buy two (I don't think so) and still have money left over. I'm not sure where his head is at. I agree it's an option but after the purchase, lot fee, and motorhome insurance I doubt we'd have anything left. Not to mention gas and food money. It was at least an idea being thrown out that wasn't TOO far fetched. For right now I'll have to store it away though. LOL

What's That Do?

Okay, I'm sure I'm one of the many people that really isn't sure how my computer works. I'm not really sure what an anti-virus does as a whole and I'm not even sure what I have and what it does. LOL! I'm totally gifted in this area, can you tell?

I did find out from this site that has comparisons on it that the one I think I have may be slowing my computer down, by a lot! I'm wondering if this is why I keep feeling like I have to restart or shut down a lot. I really think I should figure out what all this stuff is and possibly get new antispyware software after seeing that chart. If you don't know, maybe you should too.

Shake, Rattle, 'N Roll

Some say it's the end of the world as we know it, some say that it's just due to happen but regardless of your stand point California better pray that it is ready to take on "the big one". We haven't had a MAJOR quake here in forever and frankly I can't remember the last time I actually felt an earthquake. There have been a bunch of small quakes lately kind of in the middle and it's only a matter of time I think. With all the news about the devastation in Samoa and Indonesia I can totally see it happening here next.

I know that we haven't ever had any emergency supplies for ourselves and that really scares me. I can pretty much figure something out for myself but as far as the kids go they need a tons of stuff, especially No-No. I wouldn't know what to do if something huge happened and she didn't have all the things she needed. I'd better get something together asap!

The Biggest Loser is Back!

I'm SO excited that The Biggest Loser came back on! I haven't worked out since the end of the last one and I can definitely use the motivation! I really had taken to watching the show while I was on the stepper or treadmill so I almost try to miss the show so I have a good distraction when I get back into gear. You would think that having to go see a skinny-minny old friend of mine next month would be motivation enough but some times there needs to be something a little more positive. LOL We all know that taking a weight loss pill alone isn't enough and that you actually have to move and do something to change your body but in my case it helps at least the energy part of things. Now comes the hard work because I refuse to stay this way forever!

Gross Out!!!!

A friend of mine put this video up on Facebook showing something tremendously nasty and "I just can't thank her enough" for making me want to hurl every time I close my eyes. I'm obviously not putting it up here but it showed this enormous pimple or boil or something on some guy's back being popped. I don't know what made her look at this thing in the first place and don't ask me why I even looked at it but I did...I didn't finish it and I had it on mute but all the same I probably made the same noises that some one in the video apparently made (that I wouldn't know because of the purposeful muting). I don't know how this guy could have not paid any attention to this thing growing a whole other person on there but one would have thought he might have wanted to at least try out some kind of acne remedies before having to have a needle shoved into his back. Okay, I know...that right there was already TMI. LOL!!!!!
