Lord, Help Me Now!

I have hit my absolute lowest of lows in the last few days and total panic has ensued. I don't know what we're going to do but I think it's all about over.

What's the problem? MONEY. It always comes down to money for us and this time there's nothing I can do to fix it. I have MAYBE $20 to my name and with that I have a ton of bills with one being due this week. That one is what my income depends on and I'm afraid that I'm going to lose it. I was expecting money from a couple of different places this week but because I have the crappiest luck on Earth, I didn't get paid. Of course, it was just me and no one else. Figures.

So, I think I'm going to fall apart unless I can come up with some kind of quick fix in the next few days. We've sold, borrowed, and worked for what ever we could to avoid this from happening but it still came and all I can do is pray for the strength to get through it but considering that my prayers seem to go unheard, or just plain backfire, I'm asking everyone that comes across this to please, pray for us to make it through this.

Mmmmm...Coffee!

The one thing I miss most about going to work everyday is having my morning coffee(s). It's not just having the coffee itself but being able to take that morning sanity minute before the crazy day beings with my co-workers. Now there's no co-workers, just me. I could still have the coffee but it's not quite the same. Our coffee maker stinks and it would be really nice to get one of those capsule espresso maker things. what I like is that they make it a cup at a time so everyone could have something different if they wanted and there would be no real big deal about it. Along with that there's no carafe to keep warm (or get spilled by accident) so that's less power and mess. If there's really a Santa, I'd like one of these Nespresso machines please. ^_^

Autumn Breezes

Fall is officially here today or tomorrow...I think it's tomorrow. It's hard to believe since we're still having such warm weather out here. Too bad my friends in other parts of the country are freezing already. ;o) I really don't think I could live anywhere but here...but when it's over 90 degrees I would gladly trade. LOL

The house needs so much done before it gets ugly. Windows need checking, the furnace filters (or whatever they are called) need changing, and the house could have used a new paint job oh, like 10 years ago! I just know we're in for it this year. There are drafts that come not from our windows but through our WALLS. UGH! The bill is gonna soar this year if I can't figure out what we can to to insulate the room without tearing down the wall...maybe I'll have to hang blankets?

Security Sounds

We've been having some break-ins again for a few months now and there's no word if they've caught this guy/gal or not yet. The neighbors are really not at rest and some are installing home alarm systems along with beefing up neighborhood watch. That's all fine and good but most of these people aren't home all day so who's left to watch anything? Not many of us that's for sure. On top of that, I'm not even sure that they're home long enough to figure out how to use their alarms. Every so often you hear one of them going off and you're not sure if it's real or just them knowing nothing. Talk about enhancing the problem, read the book man! LOL!

What's the Happs?

Not much of anything let me tell you. LOL! Everything is still the same or has gotten worse. We're just THAT much closer to losing our house and eventually that is the most probable thing that will happen. We're trying to hold on but I'm not sure we can. As of right now I have a whopping $2.00 in my account and that's supposed to hold us over for...well, yeah.

I've been busier than ever trying to clean this house from top to bottom which is a ginormous job in itself. That's getting really frustrating as no one's helping to try to keep what's clean clean either.

Needless to say I'm stressed out more than I ever have been and it definitely shows on my face. I've totally broken out and really don't want to be seen at all. I haven't had anything this bad on my face in over 4 years and man, I DO NOT miss it! Not only is it all just ugly, it really is painful as all anything to have to deal with. I've tried almost all the acne treatments that I can get since I was a teen and nothing has worked. I can't go to a dermatologist since I have no insurance so I'm just stuck...with this. UGH!

Happy Birthday to Me....

Well my birthday came and went again last week...nothing exciting this time...again. Considering I'm turning 30 NEXT year I do hope that it goes a little bit better than this year's.I never really do make a big deal out of my birthday but sometimes you just wish that someone might, right? I live with 4 people that should have known and not one of them remembered. Yep, not one...and this IS my family we're talking about including my own mother. LOL I know, it sucks. Anyway, I really wasn't all THAT upset, I think I could care less but it is the idea that not one of them thought it was important enought to make note of, you know? Whatever...we'll see what happens next year.

There Goes Another One...

DH totally busted another cell phone. I think this will be his thrid or fourth phone including the ones he's lost (including mine). Some how I don't think that he's built to have something this fragile. LOL! We have insurace on our phones but the phones they replace the previous model with is always something skinnier or easier to break. Do they even make something more durable?!

When we first chose our phones we didn't even think about getting an unlocked phone so we could use it on a different network and now we're paying for it with the stupid company that we have and all their charges. At least our contract is up in a month or two but I think it's like that with any carrier isn't it?

Free on Craigslist...

I try to remind myself to watch the free listings on craigslist because I'm looking for furniture and not only is it good to recycle, often the older things have more character to them. I'd much rather have solid wood than particle board anyway. LOL It does become quite annoying when over half of the listings are for free moving boxes and you can't help but wonder if that person got them free also to carry the recycle chain but the bad part is that half the time the sizes aren't listed. How do you know if you can use them or not without going through each one and asking them all? Sometimes it is a lot easier just to buy something like that so that you can control what you're dealing with. I'm sure some of them can be used but there are lots of times that you have something that's an odd size or something like that. I'm sure most people that resopnd to those ads are people that recycle cardboard anyway so at least it still helps someone.

Movie of the Month

No-No has chosen her new favorite movie and it's the only thing we've been watching for at least a month...it's Milo & Otis. I LOVED this movie when I was younger and Yes-Yes still likes it but man, watching it at least once a day is really starting to wear on me. I am happy that the movie is structured more like a book and there aren't some dumb cartoon things going on about nothing. I can't stand those brainless shows and DH can't understand why...it must be a gender thing. I grew up on PBS documentaries and Nova though and I also had Yes-Yes watching all those things too and even though DH likes those I think he thinks that the only way to entertain No-No is to put one of those shows on...I don't know. Anyway, since this movie is quite different from what she used to watch, it makes me wonder what the next one will be...

The WORLD Wide Web

This lady I work with doesn't seem to be able to get many people to her website and I often wonder what kind of people she has working on it. I don't think that they did any kind of directory submission for it because her page rank is semi decent yet she doesn't come up in searches too often. I don't think she knows anything about SEO or any of that so it seems like paying these people is a waste of money if you ask me. I keep forgetting to ask her what her traffic is like and if she even gets any orders from it. She's even started a blog but only has put in like two posts and that's only informational...I don't think she knows what she's doing at all and it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack if you don't out any work into it, don't you think?
