California Cuts

The budget here is such a mess every time the year ends and it goes on for almost the duration of the time in between. I'm always disgusted to hear about all of the cuts to education and health that it makes me wonder why we even have these people in office. Of course we use public schools and health care at the moment so this has a big impact on what happens to us and the kids. Needless to say taht we need to at least get off the health care and get something else soon. They have cut back so many things that it makes me nervous to need to go to a doctor at all.

I've been pouring over some of the cheap insurance websites because at this point there can't be any plan worse than what we've got now. There are some promising ones that I have found but right now money is still an issue so it makes it hard to switch. Hopefully really soon we'll be able to get the care that we need and not have to worry about some $10,000 bill coming in the mail that we end up having to fight over or something like that.
