I'm SO sad that ER is gone for good now. I can remember sitting down religiously every Thursday to watch it. Of course after a while I kept forgetting that it was on too. Last night Yes-Yes and I both sat down to watch the final ER show and it was almost as sad to me as when Mark Green died. Oh that was THE saddest episode ever. By the end of that one I was sitting here bawling my eyes out. Even last night when they showed clips of it on the re-cap show I started crying. LOL It's amazing how we can become so close to characters.
I'm REALLY going to miss watching ER though. TV is filled with so many crappy sitcoms and reality shows that there's hardly anything to watch anymore. Well, given that we don't have cable...there's almost never anything decent to watch. I was rather disappointed that George Clooney wasn't part of the last show and only a few came back. The original cast was such a terrific match. They had a chemistry that is so rare and only the good shows will end up with them. Oh well, at least I can still watch the episode I've missed...thank God for re-runs, the internet, and DVDs. As soon as it was over last night Yes-Yes says to me, "I can't believe I've never watched ER! It's SO good...too bad it's over! Let's get all the episodes and watch them in order." Um, that's YEARS of TV to watch...but we may have to do it. LOL

I know right?! *sniff-sniff* Oh man...Melrose Place, man I remember that and 90210. Hopefully Southland will be really good and not flop like Third Watch did.
