Like many people in the world, I have struggled with my weight and always seems to be on some sort of diet. I'm one of the millions that will end up buying at LEAST one weight loss product, program, or apparatus each year. Now that I've accumulated all of these things and haven't bought anything in a while, I'm FINALLY putting them to good use.
I think that my best tool has been that I've learned how to be healthier with eating. I still hate it though. LOL The good part is that I can moderate myself pretty well and limit my unhealthy choices to once a day if at all. I have cut down my portions and don't eat at night and if I do I have something like a salad. I have let go of my soda, which I did before but quickly regained when I had a more demanding schedule. I drink nothing but water and have something flavored only once a week to a month. I've always preferred to eat my calories rather than drink them anyway.
I really started to watch all of this and try to workout every day (that is the worst part that doesn't always happen) almost a month ago. To date, I have lost a total of 9 pounds and still going. I'm not anywhere near what most of us think as osbese but after having No-No I stayed home and the weight stayed...and grew. Once I gained a pound, it stayed until the next came on (I've always been pretty good about maintaning my weight, just not losing it). I'm determined to get this under control and be able to wear all of my pre-No-No clothes again...with luck and work, around May.
