Back when tamagachis came out, I was one of the ones that had at least two. Sadly, so did my mom. LOL Of course I got bored with these and they ended up dying but they were fun. I almost got one of the newer ones to see what kind of changes that they made, those pixelated pets were SO hard to see.
NOW, I can play with my pet whenever I want and it won't die and it has tons of stuff that I can "buy" and decorate with. It also has become my new shopping fix since we don't have any money for me to do it in the real world. It's really nice to get lost in myself for a while and not have to focus on the stresses of reality...but, it's time to come back to Earth and have to face my demons. lol I started a little over a week ago playing this and have not done one thing that relates to everyday life other than eating and going to the bathroom. I do have mixed feelings but am getting better at letting this go and that makes me happy. Depression is not something that I ever want to face but SPP has certianly helped me conquor those feelings. ;o)
